What Packing Services Cost in Perth
We charge $120 per hour for packing, the same rate as our removal service. A two-hour minimum applies. Packing materials (bubble wrap, wrapping paper, tape) are charged separately and confirmed in your written quote before we start. Boxes are not part of our standard kit. Most customers source their own boxes beforehand, which keeps costs down. If you need boxes organised, mention it at quote time.
Partial Pack (Kitchen and Fragile Only)
The most common packing booking we take. A two-bedroom apartment kitchen and fragile items takes about two hours. At $120 per hour that is $240 plus materials. A realistic starting point for anyone who has packed everything else but wants the breakables done properly.
Full Home Pack
We pack every room from start to finish. A two-bedroom home full pack typically takes three to four hours. A three-bedroom home runs four to six hours. All boxes labelled by room and contents. Confirm full pack at booking so we allow the right time.
Unpacking Service
Unpacking is a separate service that must be booked specifically. We unpack boxes at the destination, place items in the correct rooms, and remove the empty packaging. Priced at the same hourly rate. Confirm at booking if you want both ends covered.

Every fragile item is wrapped individually in unprinted packing paper first, then bubble wrap on top for anything that needs the extra layer. Glasses and crockery are packed upright, never flat. Plates go on their edge, not stacked. Each fragile box is clearly labelled, loaded on top of heavier items in the truck, and strapped to prevent any shifting in transit.

Unprinted packing paper first, then bubble wrap on top for items that need the extra layer. We do not skip the paper layer to save time. Scratches on fine china come from inadequate wrapping, not the move itself.

We arrive and pack
Crew arrives with bubble wrap, paper, and tape. Every box packed correctly, labelled by room and contents, fragile items wrapped individually. Heavy boxes kept manageable so they can actually be carried.
Handover or load
If packing is booked as a standalone job, we leave a packed and labelled home ready for your removalists. If packing is booked with the removal, we load the truck once packing is complete. Flat pack boxes tidied up where practical.
