NDIS REMOVALISTS PERTH
NDIS Removalists Perth, Careful, Patient, and Fully Insured
We are Awesome Mate Removals, a Perth-based removalist service that works with NDIS participants, their families, and support teams. Moving is stressful for anyone. For an NDIS participant it comes with extra layers: routines that matter, personal items that need careful handling, and logistics that often involve more people than a standard home move. We understand that and we work around it. We are not a registered NDIS provider, which means participants with plan-managed or self-managed funding can use our service.

NDIS REMOVAL COSTS 2026
What an NDIS Move Costs and How Funding Works
We start from $120 per hour for a two-person crew and truck, with a two-hour minimum. A three-person crew starts from $160 per hour. Removal costs may be funded through an NDIS plan depending on how the move connects to the participant's support goals. Your support coordinator or plan manager can confirm which support category applies. We provide a clear, itemised invoice in a format that works with plan paperwork.
Plan-Managed Participants
We invoice your plan manager directly. A clear, itemised quote is provided in advance in a format your plan paperwork accepts. We communicate with your support coordinator or plan manager on quoting, scheduling, and documentation where needed.
Self-Managed Participants
We invoice you directly and you claim it back through the NDIS portal. We provide a fully itemised invoice with the information you need for the claim. Turned around promptly after the move.

A full packing and unpacking services option is available for NDIS participants who need extra help getting ready. Full home, single room, or fragile-only. Materials included. Confirm at booking time.

WHO THIS SERVICE IS FOR
Who We Help
We work with NDIS participants across a range of situations. There is no single type of NDIS move and we do not treat them as if there is. If your situation is different from what is listed, call and describe it. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Family Home to Supported Accommodation
Participants moving from a family home into a Supported Independent Living (SIL) property. We work at a pace that gives the participant time to move through each stage of the day without being rushed. Family members and support workers are included in the pre-move call.
Between Supported Accommodation Settings
Moves between SIL, SDA, or other supported accommodation settings when circumstances or care needs change. We coordinate with SDA providers and building managers on access, timing, and any specific requirements before the day.
General Home Moves for Independent Participants
NDIS participants living independently who need a reliable, patient crew for a standard home move. Same service as any other residential removal, with the pace and communication approach adjusted to suit the participant.
Family-Coordinated Moves
Families coordinating a move on behalf of a participant when timing and communication need careful management. We communicate with the nominated family contact and include them in all pre-move planning.
HOW IT WORKS
How to Book an NDIS Move
The process is the same as any home removal booking, with a few extra steps around documentation and coordination. We keep everything straightforward so nothing delays the move date.
- Step 1: Get in touch. Call or use the quote form. Tell us the participant's situation, move date if known, and whether a support coordinator or plan manager needs to be involved.
- Step 2: Written quote provided. Clear, itemised, and in a format that works for plan paperwork. Turned around the same day where possible.
- Step 3: Coordination. If a plan manager or support coordinator needs to sign off, we communicate with them directly and sort the paperwork before the day.
- Step 4: Moving day. We arrive on time, work to the agreed schedule, and keep the participant and their support team informed throughout.
- Step 5: Invoice. Sent after the move in whatever format the plan requires, to the plan manager or participant directly.

WHERE WE WORK
Perth-Wide NDIS Removal Coverage
We are based in Tuart Hill and cover NDIS home removals across the full Perth metro area, including northern suburbs, inner suburbs, southern suburbs, and the wider metro. We have completed NDIS moves across multiple Perth LGAs and are familiar with the SDA housing stock in both established and newer outer suburbs.
Northern suburbs
Our Tuart Hill base puts us minutes from a large portion of the SDA and SIL housing stock in the northern suburbs. Joondalup has newer SDA-compliant properties with good truck access. Balcatta and Osborne Park are close to the depot, keeping travel time and costs down.
Inner and coastal suburbs
Inner suburb moves often involve apartment access, body corporate lift bookings, and limited street parking for the truck. We coordinate all of this before the day, so the participant is not dealing with building management on moving day.
Southern and outer suburbs
Southern suburb NDIS moves often involve newer SDA housing in estates with good truck access. We factor travel time from the depot into the quote upfront. A travel fee may apply for Rockingham and further south, confirmed when you call.
All other Perth suburbs
If you are not sure whether we cover your suburb, call and we will confirm. We do not turn away NDIS jobs because of location within the metro area.

“We work at the pace that suits the participant, not the moving schedule.”
WHAT WE DO DIFFERENTLY
How We Approach NDIS Moves
The practical side of an NDIS move is not always different from a standard home move. But the way we approach it is. We work at the pace that suits the participant. If moving day needs to start later, take more breaks, or run to a specific schedule that fits around support workers or routines, we plan around that from the start. A participant moving from a family home in the northern suburbs into a supported living property closer to their support network is a job we have handled more than once. The family coordinated the booking, the support coordinator confirmed the quote format, and we worked to a schedule that gave the participant time without being rushed.
- Pre-move call includes support coordinator or family member where needed.
- Crew briefed on any accessibility or sensory considerations before the day.
- Documentation and invoicing handled in the format the plan requires.
WHY CHOOSE US
Why Families and Coordinators Book Awesome Mate for NDIS Moves
